TribesMC takes the original Factions that players have grown to enjoy over years and makes fundamental changes to improve the overall gameplay experience. Land claiming system has been completely revamped. TNT Cannons have been replaced with better tools. Server events no longer become meaningless over time.

Introducing "Tribes"
Towards the end of 2015, Tribes conception began. With Factions becoming stale for many and having longstanding problems, Tribes looks to serve as a replacement for the minecraft community with necessary changes to these problems.

- Land Claiming: Now done by acquiring a "Totem" block. Once the totem is placed, a radius of chunks are clamed around it. The totem may be upgraded over time with currency.

- Simpler Raiding: Now when raiding you will have an objective, destroy the totem! Once you destroy an enemies totem, all the land it once claimed is instantly unclaimed!

- TNT Launcher: The replacement for tnt cannons, a custom item (bow) that launches special TNT Arrows that destroy anything in its path.

- Server Events: The rewards for these go beyond items, your team will now earn "Tribe Points" for winning events. Accumulate enough points to be among the top teams and receive prizes at the end of each map!
